Hand loppers wear your palm raw long before the grape vines are done. We put a brushless motor behind a hardened steel jaw so every squeeze closes the cut on its own, and gave it two openings for thin canes and for branch wood.
A switch sets the jaw to open part way for vine stems and rose canes, or all the way for branch wood near the limit of the blade. The shorter travel means more cuts before you stop to swap a pack.
The blade is hardened manganese steel, thin at the edge and thick at the spine, so it parts green wood instead of crushing it. A stone and a small bottle of lubricant ride in the case for touch ups.
Two quick clicks on the button wake the motor, and the tool drops back to sleep when it sits idle in your hand. A thermal cutoff stops the gears under a jam, and the lamp on the pack shows what is left.
Shears, two packs, the charger, the sharpening stone, the lubricant, and the manual come boxed together. Pruning a yard from end to end asks for nothing you do not already have in your hand.
Different shelves, same Saturday. These hang elsewhere on our wall but clock in on the same jobs as this one.
