One nylon string does not get you through the brambles behind a shed. This head takes a wire rope blade for grass, a diamond blade for thick weeds, and a saw blade for the thin branches, and the pole slides out to match your height.

Blade for the job

The wire rope blade sweeps soft grass along a walk, the diamond blade chews stems too thick for string, and the saw blade parts the thin branches that creep through chain link. Swapping one takes a minute at the shed door.

Head turns for edging

The head rotates a quarter turn, so the same tool that mows the strip under a fence stands the blade up to cut a clean edge along a driveway. Small wheels on the head carry the weight instead of your wrists.

Fits your reach

The telescopic pole locks where your back wants it and the grip slides along the shaft, which matters when the ground tips away from you. A wide guard keeps clippings and grit off your shins and shoes.
