From our bench

Fallen limbs sit across the driveway after a windy night, and hauling out a heavy gas saw feels like too much work. We built this compact cordless saw to handle branch trimming and storm brush without the drag of a pull cord. It runs in one hand, clears the mess, and drops right back into its plastic trunk.

Two step start switch

The trigger stays dead until you press the lock on the handle. Once engaged, the brushless motor spins the chain up without hesitation. You get clean cuts through green wood and dry kindling alike.

Oil the bar first

The saw ships with a dry bar and no bottle in the case. Grab your own jug of bar and chain oil from the garage shelf and coat the links before making your first cut into a branch.

Stays on the rail

Wood chips fly when limbing thick brush, but the chain track keeps the loop seated on its short bar. It will not walk off the guide while you work through tangled hedges or fallen boughs.

Carrying case with spares

Inside the case we pack two battery packs, the wall charger, a screwdriver for tension adjustments, and a spare chain. You supply the oil and the pile of wood that needs clearing.
