Weeds in a gravel drive come back a week after you pull them. This burner puts a hot adjustable flame at the end of a long rod, so the line gets walked standing up, and the rod comes off when you want the head in your hand.
The valve on the handle runs the flame from a low cone for seedlings in a crack up to full roar, and the max fire button adds the heat a woody thistle needs before it gives up and curls over.
With the rod threaded on, the flame reaches the ground without a bend in your back, which is what matters along a long fence or a patio seam. Pull the rod and the same head works close in on a stump cut.
Ignition sits on the handle behind a catch, so the torch lights at the business end rather than at the tank with a striker in your other hand. One thumb runs the whole thing while you walk the row.
The head and the rod come in the box and thread onto a standard propane bottle, which is the one thing you supply. The same bottle that feeds a grill or a plumbing torch feeds this one just as well.
Different shelves, same Saturday. These hang elsewhere on our wall but clock in on the same jobs as this one.
